Monday Made It- Erin Condren Planner Upcycle

If you follow me on may have seen this picture....and your Erin Condren lovin' heart may have skipped a beat...

Brings me to my Monday Made It with Tara @ 4th Grade Frolics!
My favorite thing about my EC Planner is the bright colors and inspiring quotes throughout. I couldn't possibly just throw my old one away, could I?! Of course not!
So the first thing I did was cut out my name on my planner. If you have watched me on Periscope, you have heard why my blog is still Miss Johnston's Journey even though I am now Mrs. Paull. I knew when I rebranded last January I wanted to keep Miss Johnston. Not having another class as Miss Johnston, and my new kiddos not calling Miss J kinda broke my heart a little. I don't use Miss Johnston as a way to hide behind my blog, or be incognito, I use it so I can be forever Miss Johnston. A little piece of the beginning of my teaching journey I can hold onto.
So I wanted to cut out my name and frame it!
So now it sits in my office next to my Mrs. Paull pencil!
I also wanted to keep the pretty papers and quotes from my planner, so I made a little collage of my favorites!
And it too is in my office now.

Below are the videos of my Periscope from last week when I showed what my plans were: One is a screencast, so it includes hearts and commentary, but the video is a bit delayed. The other is just the it is like I'm taking to myself! :D

Also...I made this watercolor print  as a freebie in celebration of my 2 Year Bloggiverary, 1,000 TpT followers, and a personal monthly sales milestone on TpT.

And the FABULOUS Mel D from Seusstastic made an appearance on my Saturday scope.

So this set of glitter stripe papers were inspired by her!

Monday Made It!

It's time for another Monday Made It with 4th Grade Frolics!

Fourth Grade Frolics

my office

I can't believe I'm actually going to show you what it looked like before...but to appreciate the after, you really do need the before.
I know! Awful, right?! BUT! Let me defend myself a bit. My office used to be upstairs. But I never went up there. It's a spare bedroom, and often times...I was too lazy to go up there. It quickly became a space for storage. Then, Jason bought a beautiful new L shaped desk for himself and suggested he move out into the...well, I'm not sure what you'd call it. It doesn't really have a function. It's an empty room that leads to upstairs. Anyways...he said he would move out there, and I could have his office. Which is downstairs, also a spare bedroom. Well, that day I took it upon myself to move in! We have to get him internet in the other room, so we're currently sharing the space, but it works out really well because while I design and create, he plays video games, and we listen to Pandora together :) But what was it such a disaster, Lindsey?! Well, that's because I was planning a wedding, and every room in my house had wedding stuff in it. Seriously...our house is still a mess with gifts still to put away. I'm not too worried about it, because we have our hometown reception the 18th...and it will just add more, so I'll wait til that's done!
Here's what I did this week! :)

I coach high school cheerleading, and really wanted to display all the squad pictures from the last 3 years. I'm not sure where year 4 is going to go...
Maxwell is in that exact spot at the moment.

Not too shabby, right? I've worked for hours straight in it since I cleaned it up, made it functional, and put pretty things in it! I would still love to add some more pretty! I also need to go through that Sterilite. Yikes! But it's pretty and makes me happy! Jason says his side looks so boring now...ha...the wifey can change that! :D Maybe I will add some pictures for him.
One of my best friends got us a deep fat fryer for our wedding. We were so stinkin' excited! We made french fries and mini corn dogs, and oh my! Delicious! Something about crispy fried food..mmm!
Jason's dad came over to watch the Wold Cup {YA TEAM USA!} last night, and I made mozzarella sticks, pizza bagels, and fried Oreos. I know...not exactly healthy...but only 2 things were fried ;)
I used this mozzarella stick recipe and this fried oreo recipe.
I have started to expand my design business L. Paull Designs for All to cover more than just blog designs. I'm now creating DIY printables (like invites, thank yous, announcements, etc) and I love it! With this expansion, I wanted a cleaner, more professional look. I also have been playing with WordPress for the past few months, in hopes to start offering design services for that platform.
So I made the switch from blogger to wordpress for my designs!
It even has it's own storefront! :) I'm going to be working on getting my printables from my Etsy store over on the site, too!
So, if you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed these 2 pictures yesterday...

They were hints :) I created a burlap like digital paper a little over a week ago, planning on creating a new seller kit. Chalkboard and Burlap to be a bit more specific. But, when I got out my papers for my little bunting for my office wall, I was inspired by the colors and patterns to make some
 Brights on Burlap!
Now, you probably want to know why I asked for your favorite pattern...
Brights on Burlap- Polka Dot Freebie!

I wanted to know which one you'd like as a freebie!
If the polka dots aren't enough for you, you'll be happy to hear that the full set is 50% off for the first 48 hours! It's just $2! Make sure to follow my TpT store, because there is a whole line of Brights on Burlap coming you way soon!

If you want a chance to win the full set of papers, stop by my Facebook page for a little giveaway! :)

WHEW! Thanks for hangin' in there with me during the long post! I can't wait to see what everyone made this week!

Currently: July!

Hard to believe June has come and gone and we're now in July! Linking up with Farley @ Oh boy 4th grade for Currently! :)

Listening: This was released yesterday and I looooove it. I dig Owl City and I don't have an I <3 Hanson window decal on the back of my car for nothing people.

Too legit to quit. You're welcome.

Loving: I created these tonight for a blog design client and I can't wait to create with them! They're just $1 in my TpT store!

Thinking: Lots of ideas on my list...just need to decide which is up first! I think I will begin my new math product series. If you're a 3rd grade teacher, make sure you're won't wanna miss them!

Wanting: With end of the year and wedding office is a disaster zone! I started to clean up today and the hubby helped me put up a shelf. I have so many ideas for my office. First I need to make it functional so I actually work in it, and not on the couch in front of the TV. HA!

Needing: After stalking for several weeks, I think I've finally snagged everything I had my eyes on from Target dollar spot. But since it's only July...I bet there's more to come. I'm sorry bank account...

All-Star: This was tough. I find it really hard to reflect on what I'm good am I the only one that feels really weird when creating a resume and cover letter?
But...if I must choose {and Farley says so} I guess I'll go with creativity. From designs, lessons, party planning...I get a lot of compliments on how things are "so creative". Sometimes my creativity comes from Pinterest I can't take all the credit for everything...but I suppose I do have an eye for certain things :)

I can't wait to see what everyone is up to! Although I'll probably regret reading the posts because they'll be Vegas filled... #negativenancy #canIstayoffsocialmedianextweek :(
